I have made this cheesecake numerous times now. I really don’t know if there is any way to improve upon it! It just so happened, though, that I had someone order a cheesecake a couple of weeks ago for her Christmas party, and we decided to “turtle it up” a bit. So, I added a nice thick layer of Dulce de Leche on top, sprinkled some almonds and toffee bits, followed by chocolate ganache, followed by chocolate syrup and a few more sprinkles. Sadly, I didn’t get to take a bite!
I did snap a couple of pics, though, before sending it away…I hope they enjoyed it!

One of my all time favorite things to have on top of cheesecake is hot fudge, but this sounds even better…I’m sorry you didn’t get to try it…I’m sorry that I didn’t get to try it either…:(
Hot fudge would be a fabulous addition. This cheesecake is sinfully good.

It looks like you guys have been busy! That cheesecake looks fabulous- all that chocolaty caramel goodness sounds amazing. I hope you have a wonderful trip to Italy if I don’t talk to you before then!
