It’s National Chocolate Caramel Day

See?

Another Foodie  Holiday. Told you there was at least one every single day of the year. I just skip the gross ones. Like Boiled Tofu Day and Pickled Egg Day. Nahhstty. Those sound like things I’d have a hard time eating even if Joe Rogan was there cheering me on with a fistful of cash and a paid vacation.

But Chocolate & Caramel? I can get in to that.  So, I compiled for you a list of things I’ve made here at DoughMessTic that fit the bill. I hope you’ll check them out and let me know your favorite!

Chocolate Bourbon Caramel Mini Cakes

Mini Devils Food Cakes topped with Chocolate Cheesecake Buttercream and Homemade Caramel. Swoon.

Pumpkin & Chocolate Toffee Cinnamon Buns with Caramel Cream Cheese Icing

This recipe from Healthy Bread in 5 Minutes a Day gets a decadent makeover with the addition of Chocolate & Caramel.

Caramello Cheesecake

Cheesecake gets the ultimate makeover. Three layer of YUM.

Dulce de Leche Samoas

The Girl Scout Cookie gets glammed up.

Sea Salt Caramel Brownies

Quite possible the gooiest, most delicious brownies ever.

Have a great weekend everyone!

OMG…but watch out…the Girl Scout cookie cartel might come after you if those Dulce de Leche Samoas are as good as they look.

I didn’t make Samoas, but I did eat them today, so I guess that counts! I should celebrate this holiday ever year!

ALL of these look fantastic. Love that you used little brioche molds for the cuppys. GREAT idea.

Silly Susan, you have tons of comments!! And my guess is that anyone who doesn’t comment is just busy attempting some of these beauties. Salty and sweet is every woman’s culinary dreams come true! Those brownies and samoas are callin’ my name right now in fact!
